OYATSU box the april edition,

so its that time of month when our candy  subscriptions start hitting home, so what is oyatsu box all about,
the oyatsu box is based in japan  and started up last year after the staff at the oyatsu cafe decided to it was time to send some fun to the rest of the world.

the APRIL BOX EDITION.

KRACIE'S NARU GUMMY IN GRAPE.

this is a restock of the popular kit,

this kit makes a vine that you twist and twirl in to a special mixture and the end result are tasty gummies,

these are easy to make and prepare and even easier to eat ,

picture instructions are on the back of packet and fool proof.

fun to make and taste good,

MEIJI FRAN IN CHOCOLATE CREAM.

these are a pocky like snack.

made from real butter,and whipped chocolate cream.there are 3 packets of Fran and 3 large cookie sticks.

KOALA NO MARCHIN CHEESECAKE.

cute Japanese biscuits these are so good these biscuits i have yet to get a flavour i have not liked ,so this cheesecake filling is sweet but creamy and very Moorish.impressed again.

POLINKI IN CURRY MESHI,

curry mesh is a piece of rice and is a mascot for Japanese curry,

the triangle corn shaped crisps these are curried polinki.
we loved these and they were so addictive they didn't last 5 minutes,

FITS DRAGONBALL,

a Japanese popular chewing gum ,this is a dragonballz edition, inside is stick  gum the flavour is kumehame Hawaii,(tropical flavour).

the has built in fresher and only found in japan,

OREO BITS IN MATCHA LATTE,

these oreos are only being released in japan at present ,the matcha latte flavour is a great filling sandwiched between the original oreo biscuit,

then put into tiny bite size pieces.

perfect for travel or on the go ,i found these strong,as I'm not a matcha kind of girl,

WATA PACHI IN RAMUNE SODA,

this is flavoured with ramune soda a great traditional soda found in japan,its unique in that the candy has popping cotton candy inside that turns to gum,wata means cotton if you was wondering,

pachi is Japanese for popping,

these were really nice and i liked they texture and taste of this product.

UMAIBO CREAMY CHOCO BITES.

these are a traditional classic, 

umaibo are chocolate corn puffs.

and as you eat it the texture changes to a creamy mix and they really taste nice.

think corn crisps but in a dry chocolate form,

FETTUCCINE IN PEACH.

peach flavoured gummy candies.these are shaped liked fettuccine pasta,they are chewy and really tasty ,the peach is fragrant, great for all candy and gummy lovers,these jelly gummy sweets are always so tasty , real fragrant peaches,

TWINBOW 

a different type of gummy in that they are split into two flavours,cola and lemon.or soda and grape.

each together of singles or mix and match them up for new flavours.

those taste sour and fizzy , but a great flavour combo,

GASHAPON.JAPANESE CAPSULE TOY.

gashapon capsule toys are epic popular over japan ,they have branded goods in them and even big name merch inside.

there are now even gashapon stores lines floor to ceiling popping up over the country as people clamber to collect them and find limited edition and rare finds,these are high quality products not like the ones found in the machines found outside sweet shops since the 70's in the UK.

so a good box this month for April, a good selection and the only thing not keen on was the matcha latte,

i love gummy sweets and gum and candy ,i also love anything with  grape in which is so not cool in the UK.

looking forward to the may edition to arrive now, good value for money and it took a week to ship and arrive in the UK, no customs issues like normal either, all well packed in a box,

i also love the added gashapon now days in the box its fun to see which one we all receive and collect on instagram,

this month it is  a calm down month after all the December candy.




So the January box laid out 

GIANT CALPLICO CHOCOLATE BOMBER,
this is a giant icecream cone.filled with chocolate.
made with a wafer, with fluffy chocolate,this is a limited edition chocolate bomber that also  has 2 layers of white chocolate and milk chocolate ,then covered in a hard dark chocolate shell, 
this was really tasty and the size was huge that me and my son  shared it.
it was an interesting  taste not creamy more dry, and the consistency like an aero chocolate bar found in the UK aerated, 

the packaging has popular anime and youkai characters. found in japan these are as popular as pokemon.

TOHATO CHOCOBI.
chocobi is tohato's most well known snack, made famous by the crayon shin- chan anime series,
these are crispy star shaped choco corn snacks.
these are very tasty ,crispy and the box does not last long.

POCKY MIDI STRAWBERRY.
these are pocky sticks but they shorter and fatter than the regular sized ones, 
they have more chocolate and double the amount of strawberry chocolate, 
these are sweet ,and quite sickly, i couldn't eat one of the mini packs in a session ,great for sharing,
id love to try other flavours of the midi collection.

PARIKORE GUMMY PEACH AND GRAPE .
Kano makes these are they are not the usual soft gummies, they have a unique crunchy outer layer.the inner is soft and chewy.
porikore comes from the name when you bite into it.
these have a mix of peach and grape flavours.
the texture was strange not a hard shell not a soft ,it had a crisp fine layer coating then a gummy underneath.

MORINAGA RAMUNE SODA CANDIES.
the traditional ramune bottle is filled with ramune flavoured candies,not hard candies as such they melt in the mouth , 

GASHAPON JAPANESE CAPSULE TOY,
these are going to be added each month and vary from box to box ,
gashapon are capsule toys that are available all over japan, they are high quality toys and accessories,
i received a keyring this month.

HANAKAPPA  DIY JELLY,
OK this is a make it up kit,  the candy kit is for jelly ,hannakappa is a Japanese kappa river creature.with a flower growing on its head.

this kit was easy to set up and make,
fill the cup with the powder and add with water tot he red line and stir  as it grows in size in the cup then place int he fridge to set  for 10 minutes.

HI CHEW MINI,
chewy candy with 4 flavours ,apple,grape.lemon,strawberry.
in an easy dispensing pocket pack,

TAKOYAKI TEI,
puffy corn puffs ,these are fried squid and batter topped with Norri flavoured.

PUCCHO KUMAMOTO STRAWBERRY.
 pouch are chewy fruit candies ,in various flavours,
this is a special edition made from strawberries from kumamoto,
the 2 types inside are creamy milk strawberry and fresh strawberry.

DON KOEDA CHOCOLATE 
well this is a chocolate bar features fashion celebrity don - konishi.
its made of chocolate biscuit ,rice puffs,almond,
can't tell you if it was nice never tried it ,

found empty in sons bed , he says it was nice , a chocolate rice krispie bar.

so i like that this months box has a different appeal after the December box ,of which we are still finishing off.

for value for money and the fact in the UK we don't have many stores to buy this type of snacks from it still works out cheaper to buy a monthly box.variety is always good ,the choice is always mixed sweet and savoury,we liked the box this month for many reasons, the only thing uneaten so far is the pocky strawberry ,

so the other week my January edition of ABCDEat box arrived ,
this is an all Asian snack box .
the company is ABCDEat, found on Facebook, instagram,

well packaged in bubble wrap inside so nothing it damaged, the outer box is nice and strong.

KOREA RICE CAKE COOKIE ORIGINAL (KOREA).
a chai tteok  or glutinous rice.
this is encased in a soft butter cookie.it combines traditional Korean with modern western pastry.
its more a pie than a cookie .the filling was creamy and tasty and would love more of these as they were filling and tasty,

HEART CRAYON SHIN-CHAN DIY BUTT SHAPED PUDDING.(JAPAN).
this kit is made up in seconds.
you need a cup ,milk,a plate and toothpick,and a microwave,you heat up and then chill in the fridge.when it hardened up you pick it up with a toothpick,you then pop the pudding in a sauce of your choice and eat,

EDO ASSORTED FRUIT GUMMY CANDY.(JAPAN)
these are chewy gummy candies each has a different flavour,the small packs are easy for on the go snackage.
really fruity and refreshing to eat, one pack keeps you good on a train journey or shopping the boxing day sales for sure.

SKYSAIL CHESTNUT (MADE IN CHINA FOR THE HONG KONG MARKET.)
these are pre peeled chestnuts that can be eaten anytime ,non messy but tasty.
crunchy and tasty i love chestnuts.we get these in the uk for catering in vacuum packs, i love the ones with a sugar coating over as well.

DAHFA DRIED FISH SLICES.(MALAYSIA)
these are fish strings made from cuttlefish.with no cholesterol no fat or salt. they can be eaten straight from the packet and also deep fried ,these are tasty. but once back to work I'm going to try them deep fried to see if the flavour comes through different due to being crispy.

RICHEESE AHH TRIPLE CHEESE CORN STICK.(INDONESIA)
cheesy wafers a great cheese snack with no mess. flavour is nice and strong and the rolls are crispy.the cheese filling inside is quite nice .not powdery like i imagine these are , i had visions of TUC cheese biscuits glad they were better.

JACK N JILL CHIPS (A PHILIPPINES BRAND MADE IN CHINA FOR THE HONG KONG MARKET)
crunchy potato chips , lovely flavour,they are spicy flavour, but not as in blow your head off like western spicy means ,these were more subtle and moorish.

YAOKIN RULER CANDY(JAPAN)
a cola or grape choice we was given.
i received cola whoop whoop
this candy is shaped like a ruler , i really like the texture of this ,and it was a great flavour.

SOUR PLUM LOLLIPOP.(HONG KONG)
omg more !.we got these in the last box, i don't like the malt covering on them ,and they take hours to eat, i like sour plums and i like that it has a sweet candy wrapped round it, i gave one to the son and people at work last month lol. but the lollipop actually tasted better than the sweets did.

overall a good box with some interesting flavours going on this month .both myself and the son eat this box and road test it out. and it was all eaten rather quickly this month.
