so i popped in a few weeks ago to my local store and grabbed a few things. this review is for an all year round product, butter beer bath bomb. for Xmas 14 lush have decided to remodel him into a cute little bear. for £1.95 ,
this bath bomb makes a great bath time soak for the colder winter months,it really is a dry skin buster ,a thick and creamy bath that is soothing and moisturises the skin right through due to the cocoa butters,this is vanilla scented.it leaves to skin so soft and fully moisturised.

with 8 key ingredients - sodium bicarbonate,citric acid, cocoa butter,synthetic musk,ylang ylang,cocoa powder,wear and perfume.
so share the love with this cute bear.

ORANGE JELLY,LUSH XMAS.

so the last thing i wanted to get another piece from the lush Xmas collection 2013 was the orange jelly soap.

the piece i received when it came out last month had the jelly on top.this is good to run through the ends of the hair or swiping over the body as you get out the shower so it moisturises the body.
i have been waiting for a new soap to reach inshore one that was strong on scent,
as this is a non creamy base soap its not as lathering but it oozes fresh orange,made from freshly squeezed Brazilian oranges,orange oil,and fresh slices set in jelly on top.the problem is the jelly is so unset it slides everywhere and fills the staff face with horror when asked to slice.
i only wanted a bulk standard slice thankfully with no jelly to wrap up and stash for warmer months.

PUMKIN, LUSH,HALLOWEEN LIMITED EDITION,.

This year as part of there  limited edition  Halloween collection. LUSH have reincarnated this years mumkin bubble bar and put him into his Halloween costume,
cue cute little orange pumkin.
pumkin has a ylang ylang and orange flower absolute oils.and smells like there figs and leaves soap.

CHRISTMAS PENGUIN lush 2013 christmas,

modelled on little penguins from Philip island Australia,
this year lush have given us these blue little penguins,  £2.95,
if you love the olive branch from lush you will like this little fellow.
orange flower absolute,Sicilian lemon oil,Sicilian mandarin oil.
 this crumbled well and makes a lovely bath although it was drying on my skin. 


the trend this year with lush is to add cornflour with everything,this i don't like as it does not moisturise the skin and soften the water,they are purely being used as a cheap  binder and filler for mass production.in fact it dries the skin and dehydrates it, please stop telling the staff to tell the customer its moisturising.

Lord of Misrule

LORD OF MISRULE BATH BOMB
this bath bomb will be here for Halloween and then stay till the start of spring.
inspired by the paper hats in crackers, this was the shape of the crown worn by the lord of misrule  pagan of fools.
this green bath is so strong it fizzes away shedding its colour all the time you can hear popping candy snap,and at the end comes a magenta wine colour oozing out to colour the bath deep wine colour.
inside this is packed with vanilla absolute, patchouli, black pepper oil, popping candy.

NORIKO SOAP by lush.

as part of the lush UK Christmas range.this year they have brought back noriko soap finally.
many years ago when it was last on sale here and with the old style soap base i stashed a lump of this before it disappeared.
generally only ever released for Christmas in JAPAN now,as its a big seller there,i decided to grab some fresh batch. 
this soap is lovely and creamy,softening,lathering,(if you like sultana and snow cake style you will like this).
noriko soap was invented by noriko way back in 1999,
its a lovely soap to use after a stressful day in the bath or shower.i prefer to think of this as a herbal floral soap.includes-lavender oil rose absolute,orange oil,ylang ylang,sake, and the moisturising part comes from tofu,rice,coconut oil, i get lavender and ylang ylang mostly from this soap then the floral comes out last ,
its a lovely soap with the bright jelly pattern on top,
so if you want a slightly non sweet smelling soap this year go an check this out at your latest store.

this year we have been given a bright red  lip scrub from lush, and this year it tastes of cherry cola.
lush limited  lip scrubs  are made up of Castor sugar,coconut oil,  extract of cherries and dates,and this year we have added edible red hearts mixed in. also contains black pepper powder,Persian lime oil,coconut milk powder.aniseed oil,poppy red lustre, snow cake lustre.

Bombardino,bath bomb is a christmas lush limited edition for 2013.
this lttle man is so cute ,smell very citrus with creamy undertones,
lush say it  is a lemon meringue pie,
with added cocoa butters to soften the skin.
inside this little man you will find vanilla absolute,gold lustre,snowflake lustre,soya milk powder,sicilian lemon oil,
all thrown in to make a golden yellow shimmery water.

My lush limited order mother day ,Easter,

Hello everyone,so just a little blog about what I received from lush limited UK.

Valentines range never excited me this year ,the soap lacked a good scent .so I was waiting for Easter and mothers day range.

So only a small order I placed,

8 x mum kins ,£2.75 each ,100g.

The mum kins is suppose to be a lovely raspberry sweet smell,like jammy.it colours the bath water a pretty shade of pink ,to me and many on line have also said its not as sweet,sticky raspberry as it could of been I think that the violet seems to of overtaken which I find a little sad.

A ballistic that is full of the joys of spring,rose absolute,sweet Wild orange,rosewood,inside,the secret garden are petals,rose,bluemallow,marigold,makes a lovely green water.

This was a potent little number and heavily perfumed if yo like rose queen your love this .

The mum wand,75g £5.25

This is a reusable bubble bar.scented with lime and orange.

Best results hold under running water,and then swish in the water for lots of scent and bubbles.

These annoy me abit as they are a gimmick and would rather use a bubble bar with better results,

Of all the bubble bars the washing up fairy is the only one I have in standby you never know when you run out of washing up liquid ,with do a post later on.

Your suppose to get some flower seeds on a label but for 3 years now I have never received any on these from mail order.

Last up is the  Easter egg hunt. Soap  100g £ 3.40.

This giant soap looks like a giant lawn with Easter eggs planted in and it looks amazing .

This soap is fragranced the same as the mumkins ,a sweet fruity raspberry perfume.everyone was looking forward and excited to see and get this .

but alas as many have already said I have to agree,lush I'm not impressed,I can't smell the raspberry the violet has taken over and it has that green scent to it and it's verging on cucumber scent ,what a disappointment again.the citrus seems to knock all the perfumes off.

I think lush are really lacking in experience in using scents in these soap bases more so than the creamy soaps.and it dried my hands and wasn't a great lather making soap either.

i just love this in my hair all day especially after there fair trade honey shampoo see link herehttp://ljblog73.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/lush-limited-shampoo-and-conditioner.html i really like that it perfumes your hair all-day .a little luxury anytime.the rose water and orange blossom water is fab.the perfume is from orange flower absolute,rosewood and grapefruit oils.and doesn't weigh your hair down or make it greasy.

next i got an avobath , £3.20  200g bomb .haven't had one for ages as they lose there scent sometimes ,but this was major scented and the citrus and lemongrass and bergamot,rosewood,green lustre,had the whole house smelling for hours ,i like how the avocado and olive oil softens the skin as well.

i also got a green pop in the bath bubble bar,£2.90.100g i like these as they contain lemon oil,bergamot,orange flower,mandarin oil,it goes well with the okie branch shower gel.these come in different colours and although the same scent the colour of water changes depending if you have a pink,green,blue,white,
i always have a bag of assorted colours in all the time .i also find they last for ages it you grate some in with a hand grater,then run hot water on to this and swish and hey loads of bubbles,

i also got some miranda soap,£3.40 100g.this is creamy and fruity all in one,this contains loads of kiwi so vitamin call round,juniper berries,these are good for oily skin,ylangylang,coconut oil,myrrh,bergamot,this is a refreshing soap good for summer.

and finally the olive branch shower gel.£4.45 100g.£8.95, 250g £15.45  500g
this is a great uni sex gel,rather runny consistency so be careful,leaves your skin and hair lovely and soft and clean.this also contains bergamot and orange,mandarine,vine  leaf,orange flower absolute,fine sea salt.

So this my little order and can't wait for the Easter and Mother's Day range it looks fab .
