FLVR BOX SEPTEMBER,

this box was late being sent out last month,but we was informed by email to say that it will be posted on the 30 of each month from now on due to hold up getting the goods to them in time.so no problem.
as part of an exciting change they have decided every quarter they ae going to send a curated box from a county , theme,supplier.
so this month we off to spain. and brindisa,
they started brindisa after teaching in catalunya,and started bringing small batches of ingredients,they opened there first store in borough market in 1998,launched there first tapas restaurant in 2004,today they buy from over 800 spanish companies,

TORTA DE ACEITE, rrp £3.00.
these biscuits are huge and full of flavour from extra virgin olive oil, lemon,cinnamon,and caramalised to finish with.these large biscuits are made by hand.



BRINDISA EMPELTRE BLACK OLIVE PASTE. rrp £3.25.
a crunchy topping with umami flavours,makes a good pesto base with garlic to toss through spaghetti too.


RABITOS CHOCOLATE COATED FIGS.rrp £3.95.
chewy figs from exremadura in western Spain,they have a brandy truffle cream,covered in rich dark chocolate. you get 3 wrapped bombones in each box.


MOSCATEL VINEGAR SOTARONI,12 YEARS.rrp£8.95
made from the moscatel grape,light aromatic,bitter sweet, aged for 12 years in American oak giving that refined taste.


HABAS FRITAS,rrp £1.50
these got me intrigued opening the box.
mild broad beans with an earthy flavour,makes this an unusual but popular bar snack.



so I'm liking these new type boxes cant wait to see the next one.
